RISE (Reconnecting & Inspiring Self-Empowerment) Recovery Community Outreach Center, a program of Catholic Charities of Herkimer County, believes that recovery is possible, achievable and sustainable. We believe there is no one right path to recovery – the right path is the one that works.

Access to services:  Upon the first visit to RISE Recovery Community Outreach Center prospective members are asked to complete a brief engagement form.  This assists us in making recommendations for services members might benefit from.  Once enrolled, members are able to participate in any of the services offered.  A calendar of events is posted monthly.  We ask anyone who is visiting the Center to sign in upon arrival and sign out when leaving.   There is also a sign-in sheet for all activities and groups (12 step and self-help groups excluded).

Fee for services:  There is no charge for any services at RISE Recovery Community Outreach Center.

Services:  The RISE Recovery Community Outreach Center provides members support in their recovery journey. Members will have the opportunity to attend and participate in the various groups, activities, and services offered including peer support services, recovery coaching, skill building and educational groups, wellness activities, self-help groups, socialization, recreation, and recovery supporting special events in a safe, welcoming and substance-free environment. We can also assist in arranging referrals to community based providers to meet the needs members may have including addiction, mental health, primary medical care, housing, legal, social services and educational/vocational services.  We also provide services to family of loved ones affected by addiction.
